I once heard the saying that “the quality of your life is dependent on the quality of your questions.” I thought this was so fascinating and then I also had the thought that the one thing that we rarely question is our thoughts. We rarely ask ourselves, “why are you thinking that?”
Every day the average person has an average of 12,000–60,000 thoughts a day. These thoughts can range from a different variety of things.
So they are not all bad thoughts but primarily I personally believe this would be beneficial to bring awareness to those quite negative thoughts that seem harmless.
You know the one that makes you feel like you are in the fight or flight mode or makes you feel like you’re stuck or shut down. Of course, questioning your thoughts doesn’t have to only apply when it’s negative.
There are many different instances where questioning your thoughts can be very beneficial.
I want you to know that you don’t have to believe your thoughts. You get to question the validity of the story you tell yourself and in this episode, I share with you exactly how to do that.
