According to dictionary.com, “It is what it is”, is an expression used to characterize a frustrating or challenging situation that a person believes cannot be changed and must just be accepted.

When we say, “it is what it is”, we think that we’re being kind to ourselves and we’re really accepting things the way they are, but that is not the case.

As innocent as these words may seem, they could end up having a largely negative effect on our personal development and the way we live our lives.

The basic meaning behind these words is that we are unable to change our circumstances and that equals a sense of powerlessness and a feeling of being trapped.

Queens, you are not powerless. What you need is a power shift. Listen in to learn how to make this shift and move to a space of empowerment.
